Terminator: Dark Fate

After so many tame reboots and sequels, Terminator: Dark Fatelooks like one of the more promising attempts to rejuvenate the stagnant franchise. Set after Terminator 2: Judgment Day, it's the first film since to have creator James Cameron involved in its creation, albeit as a producer rather than director. It's something of a reset, with previous sequels becoming an 'alternate universe'. Series stalwarts Linda Hamilton, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Edward Furlong return, while Mackenzie Davis plays Grace, a human soldier who's been converted into a cyborg and sent from the future to... well, you know the rest.
