Black Adam is an upcoming American superhero film based on the same-named DC Comics character. It is a Shazam! spin-off produced by New Line Cinema, DC Films, Seven Bucks Productions, and FlynnPictureCo. is the eleventh installment in the DC Extended Universe. The film is scheduled to be released on October 21, 2022.

Nearly 5,000 years after being entrusted with the Egyptian gods' great abilities – then imprisoned just as fast – Black Adam has been released from his earthly grave, ready to wreak his own brand of justice on the modern world.
